Sichuan Nengyang Green Energy and Chengdu Jiaolong Port Group discussed cooperation.

On February 18th, Zhang Ji, the general manager of Nengyang Green Energy, held a meeting with Long Zhen, the deputy director of the Chengdu Jiaolong Port Management Committee, to discuss the transformation and upgrading of the "Zero-Carbon Park" in the Shuangliu District of Jiaolong Port. 

Long Zhen, the deputy director of the Jiaolong Port Management Committee, extended a warm welcome to General Manager Zhang Ji and his delegation and accompanied them on a tour of the Shuangliu Park. During the tour, Deputy Director Long Zhen comprehensively expounded on the overall development plan and core concepts of the park. He mentioned that the Chengdu Jiaolong Port was meticulously crafted by the Hong Kong Jiaolong Group and is the first privately-owned industrial park in China. The Shuangliu Jiaolong Port Park covers a total area of 4.8 square kilometers. With its diversified functional layout, it has built its own 110kV substation, water supply center, living water park (sewage treatment plant), and flood control system, attracting numerous enterprises to compete for entry. The park enjoys a superior geographical location and adheres to the principles of resource conservation and environmental friendliness, striving to create a green ecological environment.

General Manager Zhang Ji expressed his sincere gratitude for the warm reception at Jiaolong Port. Subsequently, he provided a detailed introduction to Sichuan Nengyang Green Energy New Energy Co., Ltd. and stated that as a company controlled by Huaneng Ningxia Energy Co., Ltd., Nengyang Green Energy will rely on the platform and technology integration capabilities of central enterprises, fulfill the responsibilities of central enterprises, and continue to deeply cultivate the comprehensive energy market in Sichuan.

Both sides had in-depth discussions and exchanges on green comprehensive energy construction topics such as distributed energy, energy storage systems, charging pile construction, source grid load storage integration, microgrids, and virtual power plants. Finally, General Manager Zhang Ji expressed a good desire to establish a cooperative relationship with Jiaolong Port.

The Central Economic Work Conference has listed the establishment of a batch of zero carbon parks as a key task for 2025, marking the elevation of zero carbon park construction to a national strategic level. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology closely follows, planning and laying out zero carbon factories and zero carbon industrial parks to guide the green development of the industry. In the "Notice on Carrying out Pilot Work of Near Zero Carbon Emission Parks" issued by Sichuan Province in 2022, it is proposed to build about 20 near zero carbon emission parks by 2025, promote successful experiences, and recommend excellent pilot projects to apply for national demonstration projects. In addition, Sichuan Province has also released a carbon emission accounting method and a scenario construction plan for near zero carbon emission zones in Chengdu, covering five major areas: parks, enterprises, communities, public institutions, and scenic spots, striving to upgrade the quality of near zero carbon emission zones. At present, the first batch of 17 near zero carbon park pilot projects in Sichuan Province are under construction and are expected to be completed and accepted this year.

This friendly exchange activity has laid a good foundation for cooperation between Sichuan Nengyang Green Energy and Chengdu Jiaolong Port, and both sides are looking forward to future cooperation.

Officials from the Nengyang Green Energy Market Operation Center, Channel Center, Sichuan Chongqing Headquarters, as well as the property management department of Chengdu Jiaolong Port and the leaders of Luneng Company attended the meeting.
